About UNSW x National Science Week
UNSW’s National Science Week program is a hotbed of ideas and innovation bringing together internationally acclaimed leaders in science, medicine, technology and engineering. In 2021, learn why space weather is our chief adversary in the quest to set foot on Mars, how lab-grown meat might save the planet, why a zero carbon future is now well within our grasp, and much more.
OUR PARTNERS
In 2021 UNSW Centre for Ideas and the Museum of Human Disease was awarded a National Science Week grant from Inspiring Australia to support their extensive science week program. Inspiring Australia is the national strategy for public engagement with science, technology and innovation and develops influential networks that connect science and engineering researchers to big audiences. National Science Week is its annual flagship campaign, held each year in August.
UNSW is also partnering with the Sydney Science Trail, Sydney Science Festival and Australian Institute of Physics.
